FAQ

1. Question: How much does it cost to ship a puppy?

Answer:
It normally costs $300-$350 to ship a puppy but may vary.

2. Question: How is a puppy shipped?

Answer:
A puppy is shipped in a plastic travel crate through Northwest, Delta or Continental Cargo Airlines.

3. Question: Is the puppy safe while shipped?

Answer: Yes, a puppy is safe. The puppy is not sedated during travel and remains in his/her travel crate, unless there is a long layover which we try to avoid. The puppy is nervous but recovers quickly once at his/her new home!

4. Question: How does micro-chipping work?

Answer: A small chip (AVID) about the size of a grain of rice is placed under the skin between the shoulder blades of the puppy or dog. The chip holds a number that can be registered to the new owner as a permanent identifying number. The number is read by using a special scanning device.

5. Question: Is the microchip a tracking device?

Answer: No, the chip only has an identifying number that is tied to information (owners name, address, etc.) in order return lost dogs or just identify them when needed. There are some chips that act as tracking devices, but we do not use them at this time.

6. Question: Can customers meet the puppies and/or parents of the litter?

Answer: Yes, customers may come to meet the puppies but will need to schedule an appointment first. Parents of the litter may or may not be available to see because some live in other homes as a pet.

7. Question: When are the puppy viewing times?

Answer: Puppies are available for viewing Monday-Friday between 5pm-8pm and Saturday between 10am-3pm. NO PUPPIES WILL BE SEEN WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.
